David at reception could tell we just arrive from an all night flight, and found us a room in our chosen category well earlier than our check in time of 3pm. Now don't count on this all time as I imagine it was due to availability, however these days most staff won't go thru the bother to help like that, so thanks a lot David! The bar staff was equally great with yummy cocktails and the room was perfect. This was important to us because we were getting back to the hotel late after working an event. It is a beautiful property covered with plants and delightfully decorated. The hotel is in the heart of Coconut Grove, which is a very trendy and nice neighborhood, with many restaurants, boutiques and a farmers market on Saturdays. The rooms are spacious, clean (I have OCD so…) and the beds are huge and fantastic. The tv was massive which is nice when you want a break from seeing and doing and need a movie night.
You should be reimbursed within 7 days of check-out. Your deposit will be refunded in full via credit card, subject to an inspection of the property. A damage deposit of USD 100 is required on arrival.

Miami International Airport is 20 minutes' drive from the accommodation. The Mayfair House unique beautiful property with gorgeous outdoor/inside greenery. Our room was lovely snd we especially liked the private outdoor terrace. The staff were very attentive and friendly. The location is bar none if you’re planning on hanging out in The Grove. I also felt very safe because there was tight security.

The restaurant extends from the inner courtyarf to the street and is very good (with healthy and gluten-free options). There is a relatively inexpensive and well lit parking garage across the street. There are restaurants and bars all around, with a cooler clientelle than other areas in Miami, which can be very tacky.
